Zampa Debattista is a firm of certified public accountants, located in Mosta and we are looking for a Tax Compliance Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of income tax returns and computations for both corporate entities and individuals
- Preparation of income tax refund claim forms, shareholder registration and dividend warrants
- Assistance in the preparation of share transfer documentation in accordance with local legislation such as Income Tax Act and Duty on Documents and Transfers Act
- Assisting individual clients with respect to any Provisional Tax Payments and Social Security Contributions
- Liaise with the tax authorities on tax compliance matters as may be required
Education, Skillsets and Requirements:
- Currently in the final stages of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent qualification in accountancy
- Have a good knowledge on the Maltese Income Tax System
- Be results driven, with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Be able to work on their own initiative
- Have an excellent command of English
- Be analytical with good problem-solving skills, ensuring high quality service delivery
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a fast-paced environment
