Zampa Debattista is a business advisory firm, and we are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join us.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth research on financial reporting standards and regulations, with a focus on IFRS and GAPSME.
- Preparing detailed advisory reports for clients, offering insights and guidance on financial reporting matters.
- Drafting and reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Developing and delivering presentations on complex financial reporting topics to clients and internal teams.
- Contributing to the firm’s thought leadership by drafting articles on financial reporting trends and developments.
- Preparation of consolidation workings.
Requirements:
- A qualified accountant or a professional in the final stages of their ACCA qualification.
- Solid experience in accounting, with a keen interest in transitioning or specialising in Financial Reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks, particularly IFRS and GAPSME.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage data and create reports effectively.
- An analytical mindset, demonstrating a passion for technical accounting and a commitment to staying current with industry standards and changes.
